Stark pictures taken at a reservoir near Leeds show vast swathes of exposed land - laying bare the impact of the region’s driest spring for more than a century.
Although the rainy season has already begun, the drought in Querétaro continues to generate effects in the agricultural sector. In response, Gov. Mauricio Kuri González led the delivery of support to 219 producers in San Juan del Río, as part of the Agricultural Contingency Care Strategy 2025. The state president reiterated the commitment of his administration to the most vulnerable rural communities.
