Los Angeles Police Investigating Possible Break-in at Quentin Tarantino's Home
Officers found no one inside and nothing missing after responding to a reported hot prowl at the Oscar-winning director’s home, police said.
- On Wednesday, Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a trespassing report at the Hollywood Hills home of Director Quentin Tarantino after receiving a call about a prowler lurking near the property.
- This is not the first time the "Pulp Fiction" filmmaker has faced home intruders; back in 2018, Tarantino confronted two burglars inside the same Hollywood Hills mansion who stole jewelry and valuables before escaping.
- Responding officers searched for a 35-year-old man described as "clad in black" who allegedly attempted to enter a second-story window during 100-degree heat before fleeing the scene.
- Although the LAPD initially responded to a "hot prowl" report, officials determined the residence was empty and nothing appeared missing; Tarantino was not home at the time.
- NBC4 has reached out to the director's representatives for comment; police completed a trespass report but could not confirm whether the suspect successfully entered the home or identify a motive.
