Queer Centre Comox Valley requests $5k to support two annual events

The Queer Centre Comox Valley is looking at the City of Courtenay for $5,000 in monetary support for future events. “We’re much more concerned about safety,” said Jojo Jaeger, the society’s president. “We need funding to go into training our volunteers to be able to continue expanding these absolutely vital events.
