1 Suspect Arrested, 2 Outstanding After Deadly Shooting in Toronto Mall Parking Lot

TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, AUG 6 – A 20-year-old Montreal man was arrested and two suspects remain wanted for first-degree murder in a Toronto mall parking lot shooting, police said.

  • In the Yorkdale Shopping Centre parking lot, Toronto police responded shortly after 6 a.m. on July 17 and found 28-year-old Kashif Jamal Bentley-Jean shot and pronounced dead.
  • Following the shooting, authorities issued Canada-wide warrants for three suspects: Bradley Lucate Nicolas, 20, of Montreal; Bryan Emmanuel Fuentes Gramajo, 23, of Longueuil; and Jimmy Prudent, 28, of Montreal, police say.
  • Following the warrants, police apprehended Bradley Lucate Nicolas in Laval on Aug. 4 and charged him with first-degree murder.
  • The remaining suspects are Bryan Emmanuel Fuentes Gramajo, 23-year-old man from Longueuil, and Jimmy Prudent, 28-year-old man from Montreal, police say, and they are armed and dangerous; call 911 if seen.
  • Anyone with information is urged to call police at 416-808-7400 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS, police say, as the investigation continues.
