Commission hears Putnam, Cabell counties water project assistance request

Putnam County commissioners, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, heard a request for funds to support a water project on Benedict Road, which goes along the western boundary of Putnam County and the eastern boundary of Cabell County. Also on Tuesday, Commissioners approved an election notice to notify the public of midterm redistricting as a result of Senate Bill 50, which requires all municipal elections to line up with state elections.
