The share of national currencies in the inter-calculations between the CIS countries has exceeded 90 per cent, Russian President Vladimir Putin said. "A stable and externally independent financial infrastructure enables us to deal with many of today's challenges quite effectively.
"Our States have established effective coordination to counter financial and economic offences, money-laundering, corruption, and joint programmes to combat the criminal misuse of digital technology, organized crime, drug trafficking, terrorism and extremism", the Russian leader pointed out.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that national currencies now account for over 90 percent of trade among CIS countries. He stated that they have created an independent financial infrastructure resistant to external influences, and that economic cooperation is being strengthened through new production and transportation links.
