Purdue to students: Come and be an AI meat widget!
There are emerging best practices for meeting the challenge of AI in education. What Purdue is doing is the opposite. Joining their Big Ten brethren, Purdue University recently announced that they will be adding an “AI working competency” graduation requirement that will go into effect for first-year students entering Fall 2026. I have some questions. And also some concerns.
