The Ice Saints: temperatures up to minus 9 degrees in the East

Dresden – The ice saints are standing at the door again and let the farmers and hobby gardeners shake from Sunday. However, the temperatures are already falling.

In the Šumava Mountains, temperatures were approaching minus ten degrees Celsius in the morning. Several places in southern Bohemia recorded historically low values for May 7. For example, in Strakonice, the record from 1979, when minus 1.5 degrees Celsius was measured there, is no longer valid. The new record is minus 1.8 degrees. Frosty mornings will continue in the coming days.
