The nitrogen protest on August 14, during which dozens of tractors drove onto the highway to demonstrate against nitrogen plans at the provincial government building in Den Bosch, "proceeded in accordance with the preparations by the 'triangle'." This was reported by the Public Prosecution Service. A traffic jam formed while driving on the highway, after which an accident occurred. Two people died in the accident.
