Katja Wildermuth remains the director of Bayerischer Rundfunk

The Bavarian Broadcasting Council elected Katja Wildermuth for a second term. Their first turn was anything but a success story. But that obviously doesn't matter.

Second term of office: As expected, the BR Radio Council again elected Katja Wildermuth as its intendant, thus remaining in office beyond 2026 until 2031. 37 of the 44 members present voted for her, there were three votes against and four resolutions. The decision is to signal stability in uncertain times in the BR: Intendant Wildermuth is re-elected for a second term - even if she has not only made friends.
