Pub used for new Harry Potter ‘severely damaged’ by fire

- Last week the village hosted filming on Wednesday and Thursday for the new Harry Potter HBO series, and residents had celebrated the film crew's arrival days earlier.
- Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue dispatched eight fire engines after flames spread from the storeroom, and officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
- Owner Luke Smith has been forced to close The Cleave Inn again, saying, `Whilst we are still not certain of the cause of the fire, and how the next few days look, we are working extremely hard to ensure we reopen as soon as possible.`
- Earlier this month fans saw John Lithgow as Dumbledore, and the series features Warwick Davis, Paapa Essiedu, plus Dominic McLaughlin from over 32,000 hopefuls.
