Sisters of Jailed Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan Arrested
Police detained two sisters of Imran Khan and moved them to Kot Lakhpat Jail as PTI said more relatives were also taken into custody.

- Lahore Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Ijaz ordered the 30-day detention of Aleema Khan on Sunday under the Punjab Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance, 1960, citing public safety concerns regarding her alleged involvement in protests and roadblocks.
- Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi alleged unidentified people vandalized homes and abducted the women, stating, "The kidnappers attacked their homes, vandalised their houses and have now taken them away."
- The party condemned the arrests as "illegal and high-handed action" amounting to "political victimisation," demanding the immediate disclosure of family members' whereabouts and their production before a court of law.
- These detentions intensify the standoff before the September 27 march to Islamabad, where supporters intend to demand the release of Imran, who has remained incarcerated since 2023, while Noreen Niazi asserted the family would continue participating.
