As Waterloo Region moves closer to making a new hospital a reality, another hospital is set to close.

Ontario Health Minister Sylvia Jones announced $10 million on Thursday to help the Waterloo Regional Health Network plan and construct a new hospital in Waterloo. The funding is in addition to $5 million previously announced in April 2022.
