WAXHAW, NC – A main road in Waxhaw is shut down due to a cut gas line. Town officials say the closure is on Providence Road between Gray Byrum Road and Bonds Grove Church Road. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area as crews work to make necessary repairs. Northbound traffic is being detoured down Gray Byrum Road and southbound drivers should take Bonds Grove Church Road. It is unknown at this time when repairs will be completed.
