Police issue tickets, tow vehicles during downtown Flint protest

The Flint Police Department and Michigan State Police ticketed multiple people taking part in a protest on Saginaw Street in downtown Flint and towed their vehicles on Sunday afternoon.

About 80 demonstrators led by activist Jedidiah Brown voiced frustrations over the city's water crisis, crime, and divided city council during the protest, which took place in downtown Flint on Sunday, June 1.

They then marched on the sidewalk along Saginaw Street, headed towards West Dayton Street and Civic Park with signs that said “Bottled water and bottled lies” and many other signs.
