Protester killed at Utah ‘No Kings’ rally was a fashion designer from ‘Project Runway’
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, JUN 16 – Volunteer peacekeepers fired on a man brandishing an AR-15-style rifle at a protest, accidentally killing fashion designer Arthur Folasa Ah Loo among 10,000 demonstrators, police said.
- Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, a fashion designer from ‘Project Runway,’ was fatally shot during a ‘No Kings’ demonstration on June 14, 2025, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department's press release.
- Despite efforts to save him, Ah Loo died in the hospital after being shot at the demonstration against President Donald Trump's administration.
- The preliminary investigation found that Ah Loo was an 'innocent bystander' and 'was not the intended target of the gunfire.'
