Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting on 10 September on the licensing of certain activities, and the President stated that the draft law to amend legislation should be revised in its entirety rather than limited to individual amendments.
Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting at which the Ministry of Economy's draft law on the amendment of licensing laws for certain activities was considered, among the proposed innovations being the introduction of additional education licences for children and young people.
A draft law prepared by the Ministry of Economy "On the amendment of licensing laws", "I believe that the issue is very important and relevant to the country as a whole", noted Alexander Lukashenko.
In Belarus, he suggested that additional education for children and young people should be licensed, and that the installation and maintenance of homephones should be included in the draft amendments to the licensing law that Alexander Lukashenko had been considering today. In opening the meeting, he again stressed that licensing was not an end in itself.
