Austrian prosecutors have filed terrorism charges against Maria G., an Austrian national who left the country as a teenager to join ISIS in Syria. At the age of 17 she joined the IS in Syria in 2014 and had two children. In 2019 she was taken prisoner and interned. In March she and her sons were taken to Austria.
