Proposed administrative consent order gives insight into gasoline spill

WAYNE — Earlier this year, a portion of the New Town area of Wayne was temporarily locked down after a report of gasoline in storm drains. Now, the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection has proposed an administrative consent order -- which is out for public comment -- that would have Wayne heating and cooling business Ross & Williamson pay a $20,578 penalty and submit a proposal to correct a violation.
