In colleges, mobile phones have been banned in theory since 2018. L'Isère launched a year ago an experiment in this direction, a device that must be extended this year.

At Riom High School, near Clermont-Ferrand, the second-time students return home with a new rule that does not go unnoticed: the mobile phone is now banned throughout the day. A decision that divides the students, between practical difficulties, risks related to screens and the desire to find more social link.
This year's school year saw no mobile phones, as stipulated in the law passed on August 24th, a measure that is not unanimous.
