Community honors Van Zandt County deputy killed serving warrant

Community members and first responders gathered for the procession of Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Adam Sherifi, who was shot in a shootout last week while serving a warrant. The procession for Sherifi traveled from the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office at 2355 N. Stemmons Freeway to Eubank Funeral Home at 27532 State Highway 64 in Canton.
