Probe into death of elderly pedestrian in Newtown Square continues

A 90-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed on Friday Jan 23 in the parking lot of Gentile’s Market, 40 S. Newtown Street Road. Newtown Police Chief Christopher Lunn said investigators are still waiting on blood test results to complete the investigation. The pedestrian died of injuries suffered from being struck by a vehicle driven by a 93-year-old driver. Further details were not available.
