Private Scottish Island with Ruined Castle Goes on Sale for $7.5 Million
Shuna Island, a 1,100-acre property in the Inner Hebrides, is on the market for £5.5 million, representing its first sale in nearly a century.
The island features the ruins of Shuna Castle and eight properties accommodating up to 52 guests, along with potential for farming and tourism development, according to Sotheby's International Realty.
With more than 9,000 years of history, Shuna Island includes remnants from the Stone Age and was once part of the Gaelic kingdom of Dal Riata.
