Primal Scream announce Newcastle date to play full groundbreaking album live
- Scottish band Primal Scream announced 'The XTRMNTR Tour' for 2026, performing their 2000 album in full, with two homecoming shows at Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom on September 3 and 4.
- The band also announced 'The Bunker Trilogy,' a collection of expanded reissues of Vanishing Point, Evil Heat, and XTRMNTR, which Clash magazine called 'more prescient, urgent and needed than ever.'
- Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, April 17, at 10am, before dates in Newcastle, Nottingham, Manchester, Bristol, and London wrap at HERE at Outernet on September 15.
- This tour marks the band's first series of gigs since the death of bassist Mani, who died last year at age 63, after they paid tribute to the former Stone Roses musician during their previous London performance.
- Primal Scream previously faced accusations of antisemitism regarding video content at their 2025 Roundhouse gig, defending the film by stating, 'In a free, pluralistic and liberal society freedom of expression is a right which we choose to exercise.
