All retailers in Bulgaria are obliged, starting from 8 August, to show the prices of goods in both the left and the euro, the requirement applying to the physical stores and units...

Starting today, it is mandatory to display the prices of goods and services in both leva and euro. Both must be written in the same font on the labels, and merchants are given a two-month grace period to bring their cash register software into compliance. The Euro Adoption Act stipulates that it will be mandatory from August 8 this year until August 8, 2026.
