Nearly 18 million Romanians voted in the presidential elections on 4 May 2025.
The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) announced the official number of voters listed in the Electoral Register for the presidential trial of 4 May. In total, nearly 18 million Romanian citizens have the right to vote, including over one million Romanians from the diaspora.
