President Revokes Award From Kremlin-Funded Poet Yuri Kobrin

President Gitanas Nausėda has removed poet Jurijs Kobrin from the list of those awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Grand Duke Gediminas of Lithuania, degrading the recipient's name. In a decree signed by the country's leader on Wednesday, J. Kobrin is obliged to return the award. The poet was awarded the award in 2003 by President Valdas Adamkus, and J. Kobrin has also received awards in Russia.
