What kind of commemoration of the mobilization of 1938 would it be if it were missing an armored car used by the Czechoslovak First Republic Army? One such car – or rather a very successful replica of it – arrived at the event of the Museum of Czechoslovak Fortifications from 1936 to 1938 in Kočičák near Chomutov. It was a Tatra type T72, known in military circles as the OA model 30.
The first CV90 MkIV infantry fighting vehicle built for the Czech Republic was officially unveiled at BAE Systems Hägglunds in Sweden on August 28th. The ceremony was attended by, among others, Swedish Minister of Defence Pål Jonson and his Czech counterpart, Jana Černochová. The event marked a milestone in Swedish-Czech cooperation and the technical modernization of the Czech Armed Forces.
