Prattville’s high school marching band departed this morning on its way to Philadelphia to perform in parades celebrating America’s 250th birthday.

PRATTVILLE, Ala. (WAKA) – The Pride of Prattville Marching Band is preparing to march in Philadelphia as part of a celebration of America’s 250th birthday. Today, the band held a rehearsal parade from the bandfield at Prattville High School to the front parking lot several times to simulate the 2 1/2 mile parade route in Philadelphia.
