In its latest report, published on Tuesday, December 3, the Inequalities Observatory draws up an inventory of the living conditions of the poorest and the factors that increase the risk.
Published every two years by the independent body, the “Report on poverty in France” provides an overview of the numerous data on this phenomenon and analyses its causes and consequences over a long period of time.
There are nearly five times as many poor people in Guingamp as in Guipavas. This raw figure illustrates how poverty is concentrated in certain cities, but also in certain towns.
The 4th report on poverty in France shows in particular that poverty “is not exploding” but “is gaining ground”.
