Welcome to today’s Photo of the Day! Here we have serial 147338, one of ten factory-engraved Colt SAAs shipped August 18, 1892 to “A. E. Williams”, 48 days before the Dalton Gang’s Coffeyville raid. These matching .45 Colts with 5 1/2 inch barrels were ordered for five gang members, two guns each.
