Postcode checker shows if you've benefitted from £11 billion mobile upgrade

Vodafone and Three announced a network upgrade that removed 16,500 km2 of `not spots` using a postcode checker showing local coverage improvements nationwide.
Experts warned that poor coverage was a barrier to entrepreneurship, with a survey of 2,000 people finding 26% say better signal would make their area more appealing, and modelling suggests fixing coverage could create 49,000 businesses and boost the economy by £6.6bn by 2026.
Regionally, the North-West of England could support about 5,974 new businesses, adding roughly £807 million to the annual economy in 10 years.
Initiatives such as V-Hub have helped more than 2.8 million SMEs improve digital skills, while a third of prospective founders said better signal would make their area more appealing to start a business.
The £6.6bn uplift could create around 70,000 doctors or 200 schools, benefiting regions like Scotland and Wales with thousands of new businesses and millions in economic gains, WPI Strategy models say.
