Port Officially Budgets for Ferry Apron Repairs

During the Plaquemines Port Harbor & Terminal District’s (PPHTD) July 23 meeting, commissioners unanimously approved an ordinance to budget for the repair and replacement of the aprons on both the west bank and east bank of the Pointe a la Hache ferry ramps. Technically, the port had already approved a similar ordinance back at their June 25 meeting, hiring Deep South Construction to conduct the repairs for $237,000.
