Pope Leo XIV lamented this Saturday the death of a young Spaniard and an Egyptian woman who died “these days” before the beginning of the Youth Jubilee, presided this afternoon by the pontiff on the esplanade of Tor Vergata.
The 18-year-old woman, who suffered from a serious cardiological disease, died before arriving at the hospital in Colleferro. In this Jubilee another pilgrim lost her life: she is a 20-year-old Spaniard.
