Leo XIV met with members of the Synodal Assembly of the Paris Ecclesiastical Province, as well as catechumens and neophytes, at the Catholic Institute in Paris. The Pope admitted to being astonished at the number of people today who stand "on the threshold of faith" and at the number of adults requesting the sacraments of Christian initiation.
