GRAND ENTRETIEN - The government adopted by decree the third multiannual energy programming (EPP 3), which sets France's energy strategy for the next decade. The former President of the National Assembly and the professor at the Collège de France warn about its dangers.
The trigger for the vote was a new energy law, which had been enforced by decree. Two votes, however, did not receive the necessary votes.
The executive announced by decree on 12 February its multi-year energy programming, after three years of intense debates and innumerable postponements.
Neither of the two motions reached this Wednesday the number of votes needed to overthrow the government. The RN and LFI opposed the publication by decree of France's energy strategy by 2035.
On Wednesday, MPs rejected two motions of censure tabled by the National Rally and France, on the issue of multi-annual energy programming, recently published by decree.
