To celebrate St George’s Day, I had the pleasure of taking Martin Allen, Chairman of Shoreham’s Ropetackle Arts Centre, to a reception at 10 Downing Street honouring people volunteering in their local communities. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the £371,000 of Government grant funding for renovating the Ropetackle announced last week.
