Poland is taking another step towards energy transformation. Construction of onshore infrastructure for the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farms, one of the largest energy projects in the country's history, has begun. The investment, carried out by Equinor and the Polenergia Group, has the potential to change the face of the country's energy sector and provide clean energy to over 2 million households as early as 2028.

The act also includes provisions on freezing energy prices until the end of the year. Currently, the freeze is in force until the end of September.
