A police constable has been charged over a shooting in Preston Hill, St Mary last June that left a man dead and a woman injured. Constable Alwyn Hill is charged with murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony, and wounding with intent. Hill appeared before the St Mary Parish Court on Wednesday, where he was granted $750,000 with one to three sureties and reporting conditions. The incident occurred on June 8, 2025.
