- Late Tuesday night, Chesapeake Police responded to a domestic assault report where a woman was found dead, and two officers were injured.
- During the forced entry, gunfire from inside the apartment, the suspect fired through the front door, striking two Chesapeake Police Department officers, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
- Following the shooting, the department’s SWAT Team and negotiators were dispatched, and Greenbrier Parkway was closed between City Park Drive and Kempsville Road as the suspect remains at large early Thursday.
