A man accused of assaulting his girlfriend and fleeing police is still at large, according to a release from the Matthews Police Department.

MATTHEWS, NC – A man is wanted for assaulting his girlfriend and then forcing her into his car in Matthews. Police say they were called to the area of E. Independence Boulevard and Windsor Square Drive around 7 p.m. on Monday.
