Police: Shoplifting suspects arrested with over $100,000 in merchandise

BERKLEY, Mass. (WLNE) — Berkley police arrested a husband and wife who were accused of shoplifting over $100,000 of merchandise. Di DiPinto and Beverly DiPinto, both of Berkley, were arrested on Thursday after an investigation involving the Berkley Police Department and Newport Police Department. Newport police said Friday that an investigation led to the arrest of two people who had more than $100,000 worth of stolen merchandise in their home.
