Horley man arrested after Reigate collision leaves pedestrian in ‘serious condition’

A man from Horley has been arrested following a collision in Reigate which has left a pedestrian in a ‘serious condition’.

Police have arrested a man after a serious crash in Reigate on Thursday evening.

A 37-year-old man from Horley was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. A pedestrian, a man in his 20s, is in a serious condition in hospital after the incident involving a silver Mercedes on Hornbeam Road. Surrey Police say suspect and the pedestrian are known to each other and are appealing for information relating to the collision.
