Police disrupt multiple ‘illegal gatherings’ of car rallies in DC area

Coordinated enforcement across four Maryland counties stopped crowds of up to 300 from illegal rallies, resulting in two arrests for possession of loaded firearms, police said.

Police in Maryland and Virginia are investigating multiple car rallies in the D.C. area with reports of crowds of up to 300 people taking part in the “illegal” gatherings.
