The police leadership has investigated the circumstances of a botched police exercise against an active shooter, during which a first-line unit accidentally stormed a grammar school building in Varnsdorf in the Děčín region in mid-October, scaring students and teachers there. It admitted some mistakes and assured that it had taken steps to correct them. The police did not say whether anyone in particular was punished for the embarrassment.
At Magleby Secondary School in Bagenkop, they make an extra effort to teach students life-saving first aid. The secondary school recently got its own defibrillator, and Andreas was soon called out to a cardiac arrest with that defibrillator. Now the students are being taught to do just that.
