An investigation is continuing today (Wednesday 6 May) following an attempted theft of an ATM in Birstall.Police were called to premises in Sibson Road just before 12.15am following a report of a burglary at a building society.When the first officers arrived, the suspects were still at the scene and began attacking the police car.
