A total of 29 vehicles have been stolen in the past two weeks — a sharp rise compared to the 37 thefts recorded over a two-month period to May last year.

Multiple larceny from auto complaints filed

The Bloomfield Township Police Department on Sunday, May 11, took five reports for attempted larceny from automobiles and one report for actual larceny from an automobile in the township.In all six cases the vehicles were unlocked and contents of the vehicle were rummaged through, police said.
