Police in the Northern Region have arrested two Tanzanian nationals after they were allegedly found in possession of US$1.14 million (approximately K1.998 billion) without supporting documentation. Northern Region Police spokesperson Cecilia Mfune said the suspects were travelling from Lilongwe to Tanzania in a motor vehicle bearing registration number NE 11400 when they were intercepted at the Chiweta Roadblock in Rumphi District.
