Detectives from the first department caught thieves who blew up an ATM in Prague at the beginning of May and took a box with money from it. Their actions caused damage exceeding 900 thousand crowns. This is an organized group from Moldova, whose other members are responsible for robbing other ATMs in Prague and Bratislava and escaped from the scene on electric scooters.
The Prague police have clarified the case of the detonated ATM in Kunratice from May this year. Two foreigners suspected of theft and damage to property are detained in Romania. According to criminal investigators, they, along with another foreigner, are also suspected of similar crimes in Slovakia. The foreigners face up to eight years in prison.
