Poland scrambled fighter jets again on Friday morning. The Polish military said that military aircraft had begun operating in Polish airspace in response to further Russian airstrikes on Ukrainian territory.
On the morning of Friday, September 18, Poland raised its fighter jets into the sky as Russia carries out another attack on Ukraine.
"Attention. Due to further airstrikes carried out by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian territory, military aviation has begun operating in Polish airspace," the Armed Forces Command reported on Platform X. The military reported that appropriate "forces and resources" had been deployed.
